70s Summer Magic 2011 - Ormesby Hall

We are sorry to announce that the 70s Summer Magic outdoor concert held annually at Ormesby Hall is not going ahead this year.
 
Each year, the costs associated with staging the event have increased and the current economic uncertainty means the event is not financially viable this year.
 
The National Trust and ourselves have worked tirelessly since last year’s event to  try to ensure the continuity of the event, but many costs including policing and ensuring the safety of our audience have increased again this year.
 
Despite support from many organisations including TFM and Magic 1170 Radio and Redcar and Cleveland Council we have had to make this very difficult decision.
 
We know that you will be disappointed and for that reason alone the decision was not taken lightly.
 
However, we will be doing everything possible, including seeking a sponsor, in an attempt to re-launch the event in 2012.

We would really like your feedback on previous 70s Summer Magic events and your ideas for the future.  Let us know who you want as acts and even if you would prefer an 80s line-up, in fact any suggestions are welcome!
